About Us
Who we are
Plaid Dog Design was created with family and loyalty in mind. Who better to represent the company than the family dog? Shiloh is an Australian Kelpie, bred for their sheep herding abilities. Like any good designer they have an inherent passion for their work. When these dogs don't have a job to do they get antsy and their behavior can sometimes turn to the worse.
The plaid comes from our family tartan. In medieval times the Celts formed teams in order to overcome their enemies. Today teams are just as important if companies are to compete with others. Plaid Dog Design strives to form a small team with their customers in order to create the best design strategy possible.
How we work
You won't find any template sites or fifty-dollar logos here. We don't have one way of working. We will always research your company and decide with you what the best design and medium is. We'll give you the pros and cons of working with HTML, Flash, or a Content Management System (CMS) such as Drupal.
We truly believe that while no job is too small, no effort is too big. Plaid Dog is a small company and knows what it's like to compete with the large firms. We look to level the playing field a bit by offering reasonably priced design and development to all size companies.
We also believe that its important to be humble and know our limits. You are here because you want a professional to build your design strategy. We do the same thing with illustration, photography and programming. While it isn't our strength, we have met a lot of talented people around town that we work with to give you a complete package.
